Shodo And ... The Viper My latest passion is the
shodo , the art of Japanese calligraphy. This is a very complex practice that I'm just now starting to investigate a teacher thanks to private. I just now got the new kit from Japan, which I show you now.
custody, lacquered wood with decorations (I know that has a reasonable cost, even if I had a big discount) holds the rod to dissolve the ink (sumi
), the ink stone (
Suzuri ) and container for water (
mizusashi ).
Brushes (Fude
) are its dimensions. The most widely used, for me I've just started, is the largest one (the tip of an immaculate white I guess I will not last long).
In addition to those we felt to be put under the sheet (
shitajiki ) and the metal paperweight (
bunchin ). There is still no rice paper (
hanshi ), I must still come from Japan.
Lately I've deepened the
shodo , reading books and studying kanji
. If and when I get a decent result, I will certainly show it:)
